Julia Stiles
Julia O'Hara Stiles, an American actress, began her acting career at the age of 11. Her acting journey began on stage and in TV and was able to land important roles in classic teenage films. Her first acting experience was with the La MaMa Theatre Company. Following that, she was employed in the theatre, playing important parts in plays like The Vagina Monologues', 'Twelfth night and 'Oleanna'. In the late 1990s she made her first television appearance in the show Ghostwriter. She was the character Erica Dansby. After appearing in a few episodes of a variety of shows and being nominated for the 'Primetime Emmy Award ' and the Golden Globe Award' for her performance on the television show "Dexter," in which she played the role of "Lumen Pierce. In 1996 she made her debut in film with a tiny part in the movie "I I Love You but I hate You Not." Her breakthrough came in 1999 when she portrayed the role of 'Kat ' Stratford in the film 10 Things I Hate about You'. In the years that followed, she was able to secure leading roles in films like "Save the Last Dance" and 'The Business of Strangers', 'Mona Lisa' Smile', and 'The Omen', her acting career grew.
